iSmart Music Center (“iSmart,” “we,” “us”) operates the iSmart Teachers mobile app for our staff in Brooklyn and Staten Island.

This policy explains how the app handles information. It is a staff app. Students and parents do not create accounts in it.

When you use iSmart Teachers, we may collect:

• Staff account information: email, password, name, role, and school location
• Class and student records needed for teaching: student names, lesson times, instruments, rooms, schedules, attendance, homework, reviews, and monthly progress summaries
• Messages: staff-to-staff messages (for example with front desk) and messages related to a student’s lessons or homework
• Photos and videos: only if a teacher attaches them from the device photo library for homework or messages
• Pay and time records: clock-in / clock-out times and class pay information shown in the app
• Device permissions: notifications (class reminders), and photo/video library access if you choose to attach media
• App data stored on the device: login session and some app settings

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the app for advertising.

We use this information to:

• Sign teachers in and keep the account secure
• Show schedules, students, messages, homework, reviews, events, and paycheck information
• Operate the school’s teaching records
• Send optional class and homework notifications
• Improve and support the app

Staff accounts and school records are stored on our school systems and hosting providers (including our database). Some settings and session data stay on the teacher’s device.

We share information only as needed to run the school, for example:

• With authorized iSmart staff (teachers, front desk, managers)
• With service providers that host the app and database
• If required by law

We do not sell or rent this information.

The app will not access your photo library unless you pick a photo or video to attach. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in iPhone Settings.

iSmart Teachers is for school staff, not for children. The app may display student information (including minors) that the school already keeps for lessons. That information is used only for teaching and school operations. We do not use student data for marketing.

We keep account and school records as long as needed to operate the school and meet our records needs. You may ask us to update or delete staff account information by emailing theonemusic99@gmail.com.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No mobile app or internet transmission is 100% secure.

You may:

• Sign out of the app
• Turn off notifications in device settings
• Refuse photo/video access (the app will still work without attachments)
• Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your staff account data, subject to school record-keeping needs

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. The current version will be posted at this URL.
